International Labour Day
New Delhi, 1st May: In a sweeping global trend, job dissatisfaction is pushing a majority of employees to seek new opportunities—with 60% of professionals worldwide considering a job change in 2024. But the situation is even more pronounced in India, where a staggering 88% of workers are actively looking to switch roles, making it the country with the highest rate of job-seeking professionals.
This sharp spike in career movement intentions has been revealed by recent surveys from LinkedIn, Randstad, and other global workforce studies. The findings highlight a growing emphasis on mental well-being, work-life balance, flexibility, and professional growth, which are now more important to employees than high salaries or traditional perks.

28% worldwide are likely to change jobs within 12 months (up from 19% in 2022).
83% of global employees value work-life balance as much as job security.
